The former artiste manager revealed this in response to a user’s comment about him being Davido’s personal assistant.
Ubi, an afrobeats singer, refers to him as a solutionist, stating that he works as a business administrator.
Music executive Ubi Franklin has made it clear that he is not Davido’s personal assistant or caretaker, despite some individuals labeling him as such.
The former artist manager shared this clarification in response to a comment on X that referred to him as Davido’s personal assistant and that of his wife.
Ubi emphasized that he serves as a business administrator, noting that the afrobeats artist refers to him as a solutionist.
He wrote, “Ubi is the CEO of Mademusicg, and if you see me working for Davido, it’s because I have the required qualifications and experience to do the job of a business administrator.
“David calls me #thesolutionist, do with that what you want. Definitely not his PA or nanny like most of you have tried to taunt me with. If that makes you happy, so be it. I am on the business end, and that’s where I’ll always be.”
Nigerian artist Timaya had previously referred to Ubi as Davido’s employed nanny in a tweet dated March 30, 2022.
Subsequently, in October 2023, while aboard a jet together, Davido humorously called Ubi a nanny.
