Nollywood actress Kemi Lala Akindoju mourns the loss of her father, reflecting on the painful contrast between starting with him and ending the year without him.
The 37-year-old actress wrote on Instagramthat she wasn’t ready to lose her devoted and loving father.
On December 20, 2024, her father, William Olubunmi Akindoju, passed away at the age of 71.
Kemi uploaded her father’s obituary with the caption,
“…sometimes you think you’re ready, but NOTHING prepares you for the loss of a PRESENT & LOVING parent like my daddy!!
.
Started the year with my daddy, ending it without my daddy..”
She related how she began the year with her father but lost him to the cold hands of death as the year drew to a close.
The deceased is survived by his siblings, children, grandchildren, and wife, Adebisi Akindoju.
